The physical features and challenges of the narrow and curving site acted as design inspiration for 1010 Midtown. The dramatic and natural curve in Peachtree Street, which is the main frontage running the length of the property, was identified to be a primary form generator. The design thus comprises a sleek glass tower that undulates in form as it responds to the “S”-shaped curve of the street. This interesting shape delivers excellent sweeping views from all angles of the building.
The project features 425 residences above a dynamic mix of flagship retail, restaurants and entertainment venues. The spacious residential floor plans are designed with expansive window walls that maximize dramatic panoramas of Downtown, Midtown, Piedmont Park and more. The property features a “Park in the Sky”, in the form of a green roof designed with manicured gardens and walking paths. These design elements minimize the heat island effect and enhances the green space of the community.
