Durability, practicality and beauty – according to Vitruvius, these are the requirements that a good building must meet. Vitruvius, a famous architect from ancient Rome, included this rule in his 'Ten Books for Architecture', in which he emphasizes the importance of the human dimension in architecture. Now, more than 2,000 years later, these requirements have not lost any of their relevance and are still the guiding principle for us in our daily work as an architect.
