About

Design Box was created in 2009 by Philip Garbutt and Pierre Mouchel to offer a state-of-the-art structural service to project owners, architects and companies.
They work on the structure in the broad sense of the term by bringing their in-depth experience of both theoretical and practical subject matter for the construction of the works.

Philip, after a period in engineering at Ove Arup and special projects at Bouygues, established himself as an independent in France in 1999. Pierre, met at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and after a period in the design office at Léon Grosse joined Philip in 2005.

Philip and Pierre are both bilingual and work on all types of structures. A small team, with state-of-the-art tools, assists them in their work.
