Shenzhen Capital Group ("SCGC") was established in 1999 by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and commercial shareholders. Our mission is to discover and empower extraordinary companies, and we strive to nurture innovation and facilitate value creation. With registered capital of 10 billion CNY and AUM of 481.1 billion CNY, SCGC has developed into a leading investment group focusing on VC/PE with a comprehensive range of investment capabilities.

SCGC currently manages 185 PE funds, 16 FoFs and 22 specialized funds (such as real estate funds and PIPE funds). SCGC also established Hotland Innovation Asset Management Co., Ltd., China's first mutual fund management company owned by a VC firm. While focusing on venture capital business, we seek to expand and diversify our investment capabilities both at home and abroad.

We primarily invest in small and medium-sized enterprises ("SMEs") including start-ups, growing and mature stages. We focus on high-tech SMEs and high-potential SMEs from emerging industries such as New Generation Information Technology, Advanced Equipment Manufacturing,Biotechnology and Healthcare,Advanced Materials,New Energy,Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection,Modern Services.With the philosophy of "30% by investment and 70% by services" in mind, we facilitate the rapid growth of our portfolio companies by leveraging our resource and expertise in capital market, legal and compliance, business strategy and etc.

As of 30 July 2024, SCGC has invested 109.2 billion CNY into 1825 projects, of which 269 portfolio companies went public in 17 capital markets worldwide. SCGC remains its leading position among VC firms in China in terms of both the total number of companies invested and the total number of portfolio companies listed.
