Since our founding in 1888, Swinerton’s success has been built on a foundation of shared values. With a culture of collaboration, we work toward a common purpose: to be the preferred builder and trusted partner in every market we serve, proudly leading with integrity, passion, and excellence.
In 2018, Swinerton launched the Swinerton Mass Timber business unit out of Portland, Oregon, to accelerate the mainstream adoption of mass timber construction by providing comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction services in the US commercial construction markets. Our efforts are directed toward reducing overall cost of construction through smart selection of structural systems, thorough and pro-active constructability reviews of construction details, mastery of the supply chain, embracing prefabrication, and thoughtful consideration for how a mass timber structure integrates with other building systems.
