Under the directorship of Ron Arad, Asa Bruno and Caroline Thorman, Ron Arad Architects continues the multi-disciplinary studio’s tradition of utilising unconventional design, challenging the limits of engineering and integrating inventive technology and materials.
The practice has completed several award-winning projects including Mediacite retail centre in Liege, the Design Museum Holon in Israel, the Watergate Hotel in Washington DC, as well as a series of public art commissions, including Curtain Call at the Roundhouse in London, and Vortext in Seoul.
The practice is currently engaged in cultural, healthcare, commercial and residential projects in Europe, USA, and the Middle East, and is architect for the UK Holocaust Memorial project in London, a team entry to a prestigious international competition in 2017. Additionally, phase one of the large-scale ToHa urban development project in Tel Aviv was completed in January 2019, and the 75-storey second phase tower is currently in development.
