About Absolute Vision

The city of Mississauga is an adjoining satellite city to Canada’s largest metropolis, Toronto. As such, it shares much of the cultural attitudes of the region, including lifestyle, spirit and attitude to design philosophy, but in a distinctly suburban context.

The Absolute project, situated at the northeast corner of the most significant intersection in Mississauga, set out to change this and set a precedent that is urban and pedestrian friendly. The masterplan accommodates 1,850 residential units amongst five towers. The site is flanked by townhouse units and retail spaces to reinforce the urban street edge. All roofs are landscaped to provide more amenity space for the residents as well as to create a picturesque view from the adjacent towers.

A public space at the corner of Burnhamthorpe and Hurontario provides a place for residents and the public to congregate, where large sculptures act as canopies to reduce the scale of the tower, and landscaped stairs and planters provide seating.
